Introduction:

We are back to another big slate! Let’s see if we can find you some high value picks today! We learned yesterday that if Capela is on a slate, play him. If you are new to the article I am going to give you a core of 5 players that will cost around a total of 30K, which will leave you with 20K left for the final three roster spots! At the end of the article, in the “Builds” section, I will give you three potential flex plays for whatever kind of contest you might be playing in! Hope this helps and you can get a nice payout!

The Core:

PG:

Cameron Payne ($3,900) – The first and the last picks are both going to be value picks. With the news that there is going to be no Devin Booker in this game tonight, we can expect to see a big uptick in the number of minutes that we are going to see from Cameron Payne. Payne is a player that is already used to being in the lineup for the Suns so he should have a strong familiarity in his play tonight. Denver can struggle against opposing guards and hopefully, that is where we see Payne have the most success tonight.

SG:

Donovan Mitchell ($7,800) – Donovan “Aight” Mitchell has been playing at another level and does not get the respect that he deserves. The Jazz currently has the best record of any team in the West that is not located in LA because of the play of Mitchell. Mitchell’s price has decreased after putting up 55DKPs against a New Orleans team that has played at a much slower pace than we saw them play last year. The Golden State Warriors are still a team that plays with a lot of tempo and this could turn into a Mitchell vs Curry shootout tonight.

SF:

Jerami Grant ($7,800) – Jerami Grant did not have his best game of the season last time out and only missed 5x value by 1DKP. In fact, if he was priced the way that he is now, he would have still been at 5x value. Grant is someone who is just a very safe play and can be consistently placed into cash lineups. Tonight Grant should see an extra boost to his production because of the fact that Blake Griffin will not be suiting up for this game tonight. Look for Grant to dominate the ball in what should be an interesting matchup against the 76ers.

PF:

Zion Williamson ($7,600) – This 7K price range is where I am going to be making my money tonight. There is a lot of value on this slate and instead of paying up for one of the top dogs I am going to fill my lineups with strong plays in this price range that can go toe-to-toe with some of the bigger price tags. Williamson is going to be in a strong spot as the Pelicans are going to be facing off against a TWolves team that is still going to be without KAT tonight. If Williamson is able to crash the boards harder than he usually does, that should get him to a spot where he has himself a very strong night.

C:

Daniel Gafford ($3,200) – This is not as safe of a value play as I would like it to be. Wendell Carter is still going to be out of the lineup so Gafford should get the start tonight, but even against the Hornets, Gafford was only able to get 19.5DKPs. The Lakers are a much harder team to score DKPs on and I am worried that Gafford will not see the court long enough to pay-off his already cheap price tag. He is worth the pick just because he is a very cheap starting center. You are not losing out on much if he only gets you 10DKPs because that is only 6DKPs away from 5x value.
