I fear that a Covid pause for the NBA season is coming soon! With that potentially being the case we want to make every slate that we have available count! Let’s make tonight a good one! Make sure you check the injury news before each game starts tonight! We killed it last night with the Embiid and Okoro picks! Even Oubre returned value last night! Hopefully, we can keep the momentum! If you are new to the article I am going to give you a core of 5 players that will cost around a total of 30K, which will leave you with 20K left for the final three roster spots! At the end of the article, in the “Builds” section, I will give you three potential flex plays for whatever kind of contest you might be playing in! Hope this helps and you can get a nice payout!

The Core:

Nickeil Alexander-Walker ($3,100) – NAW has the opportunity to have a really big game tonight. Lonzo Ball is going to be out of the lineup with an injury that seemingly came out of nowhere. That would put most of the point guard duties on Eric Bledsoe’s shoulders but there is a possibility that Bledsoe does not play either. Enter in NAW. JJ Reddick will be back for tonight’s game but it is no secret that the New Orleans Pelicans are not hoping that JJ can run the point guard position for the Pels. We have already seen a game in which NAW was able to play extended minutes and he was able to put up 24DKPs. If we get at least 20DKPs out of NAW tonight that would be over 6x value and happy times for everyone.

CJ McCollum ($8,600) – McCollum has been consistently playing better than Damian Lillard and to be honest, it is freaking me out. I know that Lillard is going to eventually be the better player so it is scary betting on McCollum. However, in their last matchup against the Kings, who they play tonight, McCollum outscored Lillard by 18DKPs. The Kings are a matchup that you want to target because of their fast pace. That leads me to want to pick one of the Trailblazers’ guards and I am not going to get cute and just read the numbers that we have from this year. Those numbers are all screaming at me to pick McCollum in this game.

Cameron Johnson ($4,100) – After a rough outing for the sharpshooter from Phoenix, I am going to go back to him tonight. That last game was just very strange in a lot of areas, and one of those games that you can just throw out the window. The Wizards were up big for most of the game and that is not something that has been typed a lot this year. Johnson played minimal minutes due to the fact that this game was never going to be a game that the Suns won. We saw that Danny Green had a bust of the game and then came out in the next game and put up unbelievable numbers. Do I think that Johnson will hit a record number of three’s tonight? No, but he will get back to his ways and this game should be a much closer contest.

Kevin Durant ($9,400) – For anyone doubting whether Kevin Durant will play tonight, the man himself said he was planning on it. Coming off of a devastating injury it is normal to assume that a player would not be playing in back-to-back nights, but with the reports that he plans to play, he is going into my lineups with no fear. Durant had 64DKPs last night and was one rebound away from getting a triple-double. We all know that when Durant is healthy he is one of the best basketball players in the history of the game. He looked every bit of his healthy self last night as he torched the Nuggets. The main concern for this game is that the Knicks have actually been playing solid defense. Julius Randle has also been playing better as of late. The combination of having to play defense and going against a slower team in the Knicks is something that scares me a little bit but not enough for me to think that Durant will not score 47DKPs.

Willie Cauley-Stein ($4,100) – Dallas is dangerously thin at the PF and C position. We all know about how the last game that the Mavs were supposed to play got canceled due to Covid, so this game is also in jeopardy. Last night we saw a lot of people playing the value in the Heat lineup and getting rewarded for that. Cauley-Stein is tonight’s Kelly Olynyk in a lot of ways. KP is going to be coming back but I highly doubt that he plays his full amount of minutes and it will really be between Cauley-Stein and Boban to make an impact at the Center position. If Boban does get the start for whatever reason, play Boban at the cheaper price tag.
